11 Super Easy and Adorable Valentine’s Day Crafts for Kids
These Valentine’s Day crafts for kids are easy, fun, and totally adorable!
I don’t know if it is the glitter, or the doilies, or the fact that it’s Minnie Mouse’s favorite holiday (or so I hear), but Valentine’s Day crafts for kids are so much fun!
Ever since my daughter was able to handle glue and paint without everything immediately going in her mouth (so, around age 2), we look forward to making Valentine’s Day crafts every year. Some of them are gifts or cards that we will give away. Some of them have become cherished decorations that we bring out as soon as we box up Christmas.
All in all though, the best part about these particular Valentine’s Day crafts for kids is that they are really simple and easy for even young kids to create. Oh, and most of them do not take more than 20-30 minutes to make either!
I hope you like these ideas and that they spark your creativity this year for Valentine’s Day.
1. Love Bug Craft Stick Craft
These love bugs are so insanely cute! Who wouldn’t want to bring them to life?
2. Sparkly Bow Band
Inspired by a favorite Minnie Mouse book where her nieces Millie and Melody create their own Sparkly Bow Bands. This craft was a big hit!
3. Cotton Ball Heart Painting Craft
This is one of my favorite crafts we have ever done together. It was a lot of fun to create and it hangs on our walls every spring!
4. Cookie Cutter Heart Painting
5. Ladybug Toilet Paper Roll Craft
Such a super easy craft to make, especially if you use the super secret trick (tip– it makes the craft non-messy!).
6. Heart Suncatchers
So pretty to hang in a window, or even just on the wall. Very festive!
7. Love Bug Egg Craft
Oh goodness, I love these little love bugs! Who knew plastic Easter Eggs could be so stinking cute!
8. Bee Mine Valentine’s Day Cards
This is a little more challenging for little kids but they should be able to help make the bees. Mom might have to finish the cards.. but aren’t they fun?
9. Marbled Paper Heart Bookmarks
Another craft that will be more of a joint project. However, the hearts are made out of marbled paper.. which is worth doing even if you don’t make cards out of your designs!
10. Footprint Ladybug Craft
A cute craft and a keepsake rolled into one! Surprisingly easy to make!
11. Super Easy Homemade Valentines
These are the easiest Valentines for kids to make. My daughter loved combing through the sparkly pom poms and jewels to decorate each of these hearts!
Aren’t these crafts super cute?
