The Definitive List of the Top 50 Animated Disney Movie Classics!

What is that you hear? A princess singing? A Lion roaring? How about a puppy dog barking?

Well, now that Sweet Pea is 3 years old, we are discovering something quite magical… the magic of Disney. Granted, Sweet Pea was a HUGE fan of the ‘mouse’ family long before her 3rd birthday, but recently she has developed a keen interest in becoming acquainted with the rest of the Disney gang as well.

I don’t know about you, but I dreamed of snuggling with and introducing her to the wonderful world of Walt Disney ever since the movies were first released on VHS tape for the first time (yes, I was silly enough to buy a copy… to save for my future kids). So, in an effort to not miss a great Disney movie, I have compiled the definitive list of the top 50 Animated Disney Movie Classics.

Just to keep things a little organized, I am grouping the movies under 3 main categories: princess movies, animal movies, and everything else. Also, I did cut this list off at 50 movies because, well… there are some stinkers in the Disney family too. I apologize in advance if your stinker didn’t make the cut. So, what did make the list? 1. When my family was living in Bulgaria in the mid-90s, we happened to be in Thessaloniki in 1995 and actually found a movie house featuring English speaking movies, AND Toy Story 1995 was playing. It was to all our delight to enjoy this new movie!!! Such memories.
